Hi I’m a 16 year old guy and am getting a tablet for good grades. I am stuck between an Ipad 2 and Xoom. I want to be able to use it for homework like writing essays and fun. I am into cars so i would be on a lot of sites that are pretty big and would watch live races online. I like the Xoom but I herd that honeycomb is not yet fully done and that its buggy but the flash on the ipad 2 is a set back. I would be getting the WiFi version. suggestions plz.

The two or rated very closely with the Ipad just edging out the Xoom in most comparisons. However, this was before Xoom was compatible with Adobe Flash Player. In my opinion, this swings the vote for me to Xoom. I would buy the Xoom.
Depends on what you want but i would go with the Xoom. 4g capable and its memory is out of this world the processor is also better. It also has a better camera. But if you want battery live go with the IPad 2. You can also check the specs on the websites below up to you.
Well I believe that right now, Apple is a little behind in the tablet race. The Xoom is pretty good, but it does have bugs. Honeycomb was actually a rushed operating system sort of copied off of the new Blackberry Playbook OS. I would defiantly recommend the Playbook. It, right now is the best tablet on the market and will still probably be the best at least 6 months ahead. I just bought one and did serious research about them all before I made a purchase. It has serious multitasking abilities and it also comes with OfficeToGo so you can do your school work and whatnot. But if it comes down to the Xoom and iPad2, I would say the Xoom because it was designed for multitasking (though not near as great as the Playbook) and has flash which means you can do more on the internet.

for me, i think xoom is the good choose, at least, it can supports flash video which i can enjoy youtube video on it.
I sway towards apple over the Xoom because of the professional reviews. They all point to the fact that the Xoom is the best android tablet out there, but that the overall end product needs polishing.
