Side by side comparison of Notion Ink Adam and Motorola Xoom. General overview testing screen quality, size, brightness, sound output quality, video playback and other features
Is the 11% and the 54% under the date (year) the tablets batterylife ? if so, its funny cause you said that the Xoom has a better batterylife and it drained by 2%, while the Adam didnt x) nice vid though, but i still cant make up my mind wich one to buy >.<
THE NOTION LOOKS LIKE A PIECE OF CRAP LOL THERE MIGHT NOT BE A WAY TO MOVE APPS TO SD CARD ON THE XOOM CAUSE THE SD CARD SLOT HAS NOT BEEN ENABLED YET. BEING A DEVELOPERS DEVICE ITS STILL BEING UPDATED AND PERFECTED. THAT FEATURE SHOULD BE AVAILABLE SOON
@Inspiron41 Awesome. Thanks. I thought these would be out on online retailers. Out of all the tech stuff I show interest in, only once has anything only been accessible strictly by contacting the manufacturer…not used to having to do that, lol. I just learned, however, that this company is basically in its infancy, which makes sense as to why they’re having trouble keeping up with demand and currently unable to ship out to retailers.
I’m about to give up…where do you get the Adam? I can’t seem to find it. Has it not actually been released yet? Because there sure are a lot of videos on the Adam for a product that hasn’t been released
@christschool Like the smartphone revolution, these Android Tablets are already influencing many other tablet design including Apple. If anything, Android is more about “Choice”…and my choice alone
When it comes to price there is no comparison. Notion Ink does NOT require a data plan…it does, however, have user replaceable battery and a lot more connector ports.
So which one would you recommend to someone who is wanting to bu a tablet?

This guy does not know how to make a review. And he’s too slow

Notion ink released the adam way too late to be relevant. It looks obsolete next to the xoom.

@matrix86 go to notionink@com and contact them by e-mail to add yourself to the pre-order list. they’re trying their best to keep up with the demand

@Trautermann it’s a live wallpaper – “Simply Clock Live Wallpaper”
1. Where can I find your background
2. How did you get the “clockmod” with date and time and charging status. I already use ADS Launcher.
Thx

@christschool define “garbage”. Both seem capable to me.
Have you run any benchmarks on these two tabs? I would love to see how their graphical and productivity scores compare.
Nice thanks for info
Two garbage tablets battle it out! Awesome.
@Sport4Life Adam does not have a SDX card reader. only a microSD card. Idk if the usb can be used with SDX card reader though
Does the Adam support SDXCards? Will Honeycomb support this format in the future?

@aznmystyk “Simply Clock Live Wallpaper”. You can also configure the clock, date or battery level to activate whatever program you wish too
Where did you get that wallpaper with clock date and battery percentage?
@MrKfou i hope you enjoy it! let me know if you want to see anything specific in comparison between adam and xoom
