the ipad is obviously not an original device. There are devices such as the Archos
tablets that came out long, long before the ipad. if anything the ipad is a knock off of the archos tablet. even if the xoom is a knock off it is a lot faster with better Ram and parts. Tell me what you think

Apple may have more apps now, but they failed to mention a few things. Things such as:
Developers made almost 10 times more money on their android apps than their IOS apps.
The Android market grew bigger in size last year than the IOS did in the last 2 years combined.
That the a lot of their developers are dropping the IOS to switch to android.
I’m not saying android is better, but apple won’t be able to use apps as an excuse by the end of the year the way things are going.

I completely agree with you. Apple is known for their advertising. They tell people what they want to hear. The android community doesn’t have that.
To say that the ipad was the first tablet would be crazy…
The ipad was the first comertially recognized tablet to offer a user experience that people already enjoyed…. basically a much larger Iphone, that can’t make calls.
Apple sponsors many websites and as a result you can’t trust everything those sites say. Decide for yourself.
Understand your point in how people will see the XOOM. But I don’t buy stuff for other people. I love the XOOM. Had it for 2 weeks now and love it. I’m sure the Ipad 2 is hot, but I like what I like. And can’t argue with someone over something I paid for. Once again. I love the Xoom. Wouldn’t trade it for anything. But I loved your story. Please keep up the great work. Thank u…..
CNET had the prize fight where they said the Xoom lost yet there are many videos all over the net where they say that the Xoom is superior. The screen on the Ipad is better and they have way more apps but that’s about it. The Xoom is a more powerful and capable tablet but is currently stunted by app development. People also have to remember that the Ipad was not the first tablet.I wish I was there for that argument because it sounds funny. Thanks for sharing the story.
