I already sold my ipad 2 and bought the moto xoom. it is alot better in my opinion and a little faster when multitasking. Also i dont have to jail break it to do what i want like running a rom emulator. plus I dont see the fuss about oh droid doesnt have as many apps as apple, android apps began in 2009 and apple apps began in july 2008! apple had 300,000 apps In 2010 two years later, android has 256,000 a month ago two years after they started. how many apps could you use?

Great video. I am not bias, I have owned iphone, ipod, ipod touch, and android phones. I think the only thing holding the Xoom down is the amount of good apps. Ipad2 is pretty good but it is the apps that make it shine. Android just need to get its shit together and get the app developers the source code. the Xoom need to get Netflixs. It all comes down to app ecosystem.
@MyLeotheking The reason why people dont get the XOOM more than the ipad 2 is for the same reason that you dont see everyone getting a Ferrari and you see more of people getting toyotas hondas and stuff like that.
Apple does LOTS of advertising. You dont see Motorola doing ANY advertising. same thing applies to my car comparison. THINK ABOUT IT………….everything happens for a reason.

As to why iPad sells much better, it has to do with the marketing. Motorola did crappy job while Apple is always one of the best when it comes to marketing and reaching people. Spec wise, Xoom is better than iPad 2. Just because everyone gets iPad2 doesn’t mean I have to get one. I get what I think is best.

Xoom is closer to a PC than the ipad 2. If u had the 1st ipad. then u had the 2nd. Not a $600-$700 diffrence between. I returned the ipad 2 for the Xoom. Search youtube for ipad 2 fail…. Then Xoom for the same thing. Not many Xooms went back.
@rashad123us You might be right can’t argue with that..I have read online about amoled,Lcd and Samoled comparism..I know little about them in the sense of hands on..Even right now when I look at my Moto screen I like what I see..The only time I had a real issue with any of my screens was on a cruise ship deck trying to see my Ipad screen while looking at all these people in direct sunlight reading their book readers away..But point taken.

@Nitramanics The screen serves it’s purpose, but in comparison to the SAMOLED, and IPS technologies, it’s inferior. The colors are bland, the blacks are grey, and the screen isn’t as bright.
If the xoom is sooooo much better, then why everyone got the iPad 2 instead of the xoom? I got my iPad 2 and I have no complaints, ok it doesn’t have flash but that doesn’t really bother me…. HTML 5 works good enough for me, the xoom is just to boring and unstable… It still has a lot of bugs, I really couldnt see myself given up my iPad 2 for the xoom… The galaxy tab 10.2 I think it’s called, now that may be a wonderful device

I have seen no issue with the color,contrast or brightness of the Xoom ..What mine does if its set on auto is it tend to dim a bit to save battery life but as far as that being a issue I would not think so..

You get far more for your money with Xoom, 4G mobile internet, expandable memory up to 32GB, 1GB (PC RAM), HDMI and micro USB port, far better cameras with dual LED flash, larger and higher definition screen in a smaller circumference, stereo speakers, flash player, useful User Interface and OS almost a hint of PC all of which the iPad2 has NOT GOT and more.
