Google Earth on the Motorola Xoom

A quick demo of Google Earth running on the new Motorola Xoom, powered by Android 3.0 (Honeycomb). Apologizes for the video quality — I had a hard time fighting the glare on the screen. www.gearthblog.com

Very true. Well I hope they update Google Earth for Honeycomb also. I am more concerned about tighter google docs and google voice integration though.

@plvaulter006 Google Maps just has a few untextured 3D buildings. It’s certainly neat, but nothing like the hundreds of thousands of fully textured 3D buildings that are in Google Earth.

If you want 3D buildings why not just use the Google Maps app? They it is definitely optimized for for 1200×800 honeycomb
