While I can’t say, “You’ll definitely get in”, I think you have a pretty good shot at getting in and regardless of that, I think you should definitely apply. In terms of needing calculus, it would depend on what you want to study in college. If you’re going the engineering or pre-med type of path, I would highly recommend it. I think if you keep up the good work, you should have a good chance. Hope this is somewhat useful to you and good luck!
Your ACT score is probably too low and your grades too. Schools may set minimum entrance requirements but remember the keyword is minimum as they will usually select students that exceed them. My advice would be to take the SAT and shoot for a score of at least 1700 – 1750 combined score on Math and Verbal. I would also try to get your grades up more too. Generally a rigorous academic schedule is needed which includes math, sciences, and english. Art History, economics, psychology, humanities, and social sciences are not seen as rigorous and may work against you. My advice would be to do more in the sciences and not emphasize as much the social sciences like economics.
your credentials look good (all though if this is copy-pasted directly from your resume, i’d recommend reformatting–it’s confusing!) and i think you have a good chance. however, you probably do need straight a’s, ESPECIALLY on semester, and probably mainly a’s on report cards. and what are your sat scores? 31 is a little low for the act. but your ap scores are so good, it makes me think maybe you should try again on those sat’s/act’s. definitely apply, you are way above the average student, and it’s worth trying. good luck!
wow. pretty much yeahhh.
Ignore the answers above mine that say your grades and ACT aren’t good enough. Everything depends, and it’s incredibly difficult to “chance” people on getting into the schools. A lot of universities really weight the essay, so that’s certainly an area you should focus on, it can completely make or break you.
