I thought I’d end the year not with a bang, but with the wet splashy sound of vomit! At the risk of raising the ire of my viewers, here are my least favorite episodes of Ranma 1/2… numbers ten through six. Be gentle with me.

i agree with number 7. it was pretty bad. besides in the manga it was a melon race and it was on the beach
Did you know the Race of the snowmen first replaced a race that was suppose to happpen at a beach? 8D instead of carrying snowmen they had to carry watermelon
The Good Bye Girl Type obviously could have been more like the manga. It was a lot better. It made more sense and stuff… = 3 =

Your picks for numbers 8 and 7 are right on the money. I disliked both of these episodes so, so much. I’ve only watched the first three seasons of Ranma 1/2. I can’t get over the voice change of Ranma long enough to watch season 4 and up.
In general, the manga of Ranma 1/2 is superior in all ways. If your going to watch the anime version of Ranma 1/2 though, I suggest that you watch the subbed version. Ranma aired in the late 80s early 90s, when translation companies still sucked all the life out of what they translated. Not that they don’t do it often to this day, but many have gotten alot better.
The Wrath of Happosai and Mixed Bath of Horror were both in the manga, but the anime of course redid them quite a bit. The manga’s stories are much more enjoyable. Cool Runnings, was kinda from the manga, but it actually took place on a beach and wasn’t at all like how the anime presented it. The rest I believe are entirely the animation studios idea.

Kind of funny intentions to it (you can tell when it’s on paper), but it just should not be. . .
honorable mention: the episode where ryoga (somehow, i forgot) won a trip to china because of some kind of competition that took 29 minutes of the episode, and then at the last minute of the 30-min episode, he misses the plane because he gets lost. UGH. i want those 30 minutes back.

I have 2 agree with you. those episodes were the worst. I thought they were ok. . . untill i read the manga. . . . . and on a side note, censoring ranma’s boobs was awesome XDD
