  • Morpheus01984 says:

Weird, what the hell happened, was it because the TKD dude started throwing a few punches? isn’t that allowed or something??

  • SetsunaJulien says:

Thats wahy i Think that competition is really bad for martial art…

  • Valiusmistik says:

El TKD WTF no participa, pero el ITF si, por supuesto que el WTF es mejor, aunque la verdad para estilo de pelea apenas guardo un par de tecnicas que se usan en tae kwon do, nada mas.

  • garebear150 says:

wow that got out of hand in a hurry.

  • nbmstr says:

But if you dont keep in mind that they can kick you in the head, there is a bigger chenche to be kicked in the head.

  • somethinggood69 says:

wtf? what the hell happened? hit a sensitive spot or something?

  • Ninja4Butoku says:

It’s not about the art, it’s about the fighter dude. Keep that in mind next time you go up against someone and you underestimate them because they know Tae Kwon-Do, because in your mind, they’re automatically going to kick you in the head.

  • yellowmon123 says:

    His kicks????

  • BUMBACLUT says:

imperion, i agree tkd’s focus on kicks does allow ground game, but don’t disregard and call any martial arts a ‘wreckless fighting style’. martial arts are ARTS, including tkd. as fooglmog states, tkd has various forms, the most prominent being the SPORT version. otherwise, it is a very valuable art for fighting. as you may recall, anderson silva began in tkd. his bowing to the audience before a fight, and his kicks are from his tkd background. so please dont rush into opinions.

  • guillermos70 says:

el verdadero tae kwan do no participa en esas competencia si no pregunta en la federacion mundial de tae kwan do.

  • mandolith says:

    Or a Do Bok.

  • Fooglmog says:

I’d disagree Imperion. Most high level practiontioners of Taekwondo today are in it for the sport. This is why you see kicks like that (a kick to the head scoring the most points in competition) but if you find a third or fourth dan with classical (as opposed to sport) training you’ll soon realize what Taekwando can do.
My background’s in Okinawan Karate, but I used to spar with a friend who had his second poom. I wish it had been as easy as you suggest to get him to the ground.

trivium666fan <- You are fucking clueless. Tae kwon crap is a wreckless fighting style that keeps your face and chin open for brutal strikes. One of those wild kicks, i grab, take you to the ground, and put you in a knee bar… and you won't walk for weeks, or months. You're so clueless it's sad. Holy shit. Go watch ufc 1 to see how effective tae kwon do is.. That's why its not a formally used base backround anymore. Moron.

  • trivium666fan says:

BJJ is very easily taken out. The only reason it is so popular is because it follows the rules that most martial arts competitions today have set as a basis. Fighing styles such as Tae Kwon Do or Gung Fu break most of the rules and so they aren’t used as much, but are actually more effective than BJJ.

  • smakabitch says:

i think tae kwon doe got that one

  • simondo666 says:

No, It’s called a Gi. its a martial arts suit !

  • cooper283 says:

    Why they in their pyjamas?

    perty hecktic

  • aknewway says:

jiu jitsu is the same anywhere you learn it, and it doesn’t just focuse on ground fighting. As a matter of fact it has great self defense tactics for standing and a whole lot of stand up fighting, thats why the samurai designed it like that for battlefield use and it was a favorite for them and their needs in war.

  • cbproducktions says:

That wasn’t Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is ground fighting. Someone who does BJJ would dominate both of those guys.

  • utmobbad says:

Tyson is NOT the strongest boxer.

But one of the most aggressive.

  • tankshot009 says:

i respect all fighting styles. and boxing contains alot of potential. but if you fight with a person who trains a decent amount of time in mma. and who prectices theyre low kick day in and day out your in trouble. you should only fight people who in turn use theyre hands also. and realize. boxing was not made as self defence. hence the fact that u must fight people in ur weight class. while in martial arts weight class is the last thing to worry about.
