exmortem.redio.de ————————– PLEASE READ BEFORE WATCHING I am NOT teaching any particular style like American or traditional from Okinawa, this is a fully selftaught free-style from watching videos in the internet only. In case you intend to use it for fighting, the way I hold it is totally useless because of different reasons: 1) you have a shorter range 2) you can’t build up as much power as with the use of the leverage 3) it’s harder to hold an enemy at distance 4) the possibility of hitting yourself is higher If you can’t deal with it, just don’t watch it. When you really want to use it for fighting turn off your PC and search for a suitable martial arts school. Sorry for talking in this rough way but some people still don’t understand it. @icannotfalter nunchucks are for flashy moves who would use these in a fight id own ur ass with a bat and u would be tryin not to hit ur self with ur own weapon
im confused with the beginning how should you move your wrist?
as far as technique goes depend if your doing formal or freestyle this is freestyle
thanks for the effort , theres so many people who dont even learn martail arts but have passion on it , at least , the skills be shared by the world
dude thanks alot!!! this gonna help me
reach!
your name is about me:) im nunchaku freak love the nunchakus:D
Rapidly blink your eye’s for more speed and close your eyes for feel and look down at the floor useing your perifial vision while in actual sparing, because when are you actualy going to be in real combat with nunchucks or nunchaku as people spell it.
hahah your shit mate i would destroy you
this is great for the flashy stuff, but as far as attacking this is horrible. to someone who knows what they’re doing, you’re just a kid flailing around some sticks. for starters, you need to hold the nunchaku farther towards the end, with about a half-inch of wood sticking out from the bottom of your hand, heargo youll get more power from that, not to mention range, and when you catch it over your shoulder, you need to be at a 180* angle. but other than that, good job for teaching yourself
you guys are dumb. holding it closer to the chain is the proper tech!
Ahh the classics, the mighty Motorhead. Keep swinging those chucks.
You need to iron out a couple of things though. I think you move your hips and shoulders too much in anticipation of hitting yourself. I do that when I’m learning a new technique but it’s the first thing I fix before I speed it up.
appart from the fact that thats actually proper technique
Thanks FOR SHARING!
you need shorter and lighter nunchaku….Its to heavy and big for you
I think you need to focus on your over the shoulder passes. You can see from this video that the shoulders tilt when passing above/over the shoulder. I like to make it a point when doing over the shoulder passes, that the passing arm come up with the upper arm to 90 degrees. This gives you greater range of motion in passes and, as a result, allows you to re-direct the chucks in a greater range for this type of maneuver. This also increases your striking potential for maximum delivery.
anybody but me think that other than the other things wrong here that he was holding his nunchaku to close to the chain thereby shortening it’s full range
FUCK, i think i jus broke my balls!
awesome now i want to learn nunchaku by the nice song mate by moorhead
do you have other video of nunchaku=? this iis great. and i understand at all— i`m sorry i dont speak inglish well.. i from peru– congratulation for the video.. 5 stars–
calling THAT a kata should be illegal -.-
hey, and the legs??? are you teaching people to use the weapon without showing the correct bases? keep in mind… you won’t learn karate or kung-fu in the net, pals!
This way the end is not flailing around dangerously close to the user and the affective range is increased. The changes arent bad but this is not something you should learn as a beginner, hand position, pressure of the fingers and basic up and down strikes are all that should be taught before moving on to this kind of stuff. I dont have a problem with this guy or what hes doing I just think its irresponsible to call it a tutorial as it doesnt start with the basics and is fundamentally incorrect
Actually there is quite a lot wrong with the technique, if you dont want to dont take my word for it look at some professional videos on here. My main issue is with the figure 8, swinging the striking end around the base is wrong, the momentum should be in the striking end and the chain straight throughout the strike, the weapon should be used as if it were a stick. Its the body, arm and rotation of the wrist that generates power.
nah just buy the real deal… you wont hurt yourself
