How to do a macaco/monkey flip tutorial- learn capoeira breakdance moves

The macaco is a little flip that is used in capoeira, but also in breakdancing and tricking. It is a simple movement. The main thing to remember is that you have to really whip your hips hard, and look directly behind you. And that hand is also going to do a slight rotation while going back. Watch the video!

  • KidHaru says:

@ZacBlanco Yea it is somewhat like a back handspring. I actually used to do these in succession and thats how I first got my back handspring since I ended up jumping back by accident before I placed my hand on one.

Thats a pretty nice move, isn’t this almost like a back handspring though too? I’m no gymnast but I still try some of these moves like the kip ups are pretty fun to do once you get them down. Keep up the good work and keep putting out those tutorials! Thanks
