1. Don’t initiate force against another (violence, coercion, ect).
2. Uphold your contracts.
3. Respect people’s property.
Reggie I could have told you as much, lol. And it goes both ways, if a girl is talking bad about her boyfriend and her girlfriend speaks bad about him, the same happens.
I would probably be loyal to the friend, to be honest with you. All depends on if I knew the individual longer than I knew the friend, and how close I was to them.
Are you taking about snitching?
You dont say a word.
You can still be loyal, you tell your friend you dont agree with what hes doing. That you wont say anything…and that it puts you in an awkward position.
Its best she hears it from him..
Morality really just boils down to what is better for you. Risk vs reward.
For instance if your friend steals something you may turn a blind eye because your friendship is worth more to you than the rule of law. But if a complete stranger steals something you will turn him in to the cops without thinking twice.
In regards to your mate cheating. It kind of boils down to trying to work out what is worth more to you. The truth or your friendship.
Reginald, you argued for social contract theory. Do you realize the implications of this argument?
Hitler and Stalin had a social contract which said killings off citizens and neighbors was fine because it benefited society in the long run. Obviously, you and I may disagree with their social contract, but if you accept social contracts, there is no objective standard by which to say our social contract is superior to Stalin’s. Thus, Stalin is correct to kill off people in his society…
and we are correct to believe genocide is immoral. However, we have no objective standard by which to reject Stalin’s point of view. Thus, it is implicit to your argument that there is nothing intrinsically wrong with rape and murder. Personally, I reject this subjective moral system. Instead, I apply an objective moral standard as set forth in the Bible.
The cheating thing? You’d be between a rock and a hard place. A lot depends there…
10 minutes ago, I fixed dinner for my wife and girls and they were watching, I think, Animal Planet. The woman said “pissed” on a rated G TV show. My wife said, “Did she just say pissed!!” Yep. Uh..that woud’ve never been said a few years ago. I think time changes a lot of things. 45, same wife of 21 yrs with 2 girls, 16 & 13. I could go on and on about the boyfriend thing, but won’t.

To answer the “what would you do if your friend was cheating” question:
I would tell without a moment of hesitation.
1. I’m not a liar.
2. He betrayed her so he shouldn’t have much of a problem of being betrayed himself.
3. Am I going to let his wife stay with a man that’s cheating on her? Well, that’s her decision.
You associate morality with political correctness, there not the same. I would never tell my buddies wife anything and whos laws are you talking about, mans laws or gods laws? It doesnt really matter imo as they are both made up mumbo jumbo to control others. Man is animal and animal is man, there is no law of the wild, its kill or be killed. As some would say, it’s just business.
I wouldnt be friends with a guy like that, he has a damaged character.
I completely disagree. Who the hell are you to say who can live and who can die? You didnt create life, so who are you to decide who lives and who dies? some serial killers get life in prison, but for man to try and play God is ridiculous and stupid.

i decide what to do by guaging the ramifications to my actions. you may have good intentions, doing either telling the wife or not, but, what will likely be the fallout? it is like you said, common sense, but, that isn’t always available for some reason. so, i would tell someone i respect my problem and w/o a doubt, they will go behind my back & tell her.
Wow Reggie, very deep questions. I thinnk that you need to look deeper into your definitions of right and wrong. I think you’ll find that there are definates. Just look at the decpeption and stealing of the banks and NWO. Also, I don’t know your past, but I do know that your statement about relationships showed hurt and denfense. Relationships with poeple are messy, but they are also rewarding. I am sorry for whoever rejected you or hurt you. You have a lot to offer.

How are you helping a friend by backing them in hurtful behavior, not only to others, by also themselves?
How does one call another a friend that has no problem bringing hurt onto others while engaging in activities that bring them pleasure?
Who is this person, one should ask, that can experience pleasure knowing that they are back-stabbing their spouse and child(ren), that love ‘em?
What does this say about those that help this person?
Love how you spark intelligent debates on complex subjects. I believe there is no infallible set of commandments or laws that can accurately reflect morality. It’s just not that simple. Everything is relative. Murder, lying, even theft can be the moral thing to do in the right situation. What’s right and wrong can only be decided by us and we know in our heart if what we’re doing is right or wrong. Plenty of immoral actions happen that are entirely legally such as Bailouts & Federal Reserve Act

LEGAL? Are you HIGH? It is THEFT pure and simple, RELATIVE? Nope, we need to go and get our money back, get their houses, boats, yachts, summer homes, jewelry underwear, cars, EVERYTHING. Then and only then will their be RELATIVE JUSTICE!

It is indeed legal…it is legal thievery, just like fractional reserve banking! What the Fed does is legal counterfeiting. I do agree with you that we should be galvanizing to “get our money back”.
