In this video I’m happy to share our son’s 3rd bathing experience, along with some tid-bits of my own experience dealing with newborns over the last eleven years. I hope this can bring some comfort to first time mothers. Enjoy!
@sweetjamee Well, we personally don’t really have them? around any people except family members until at least 8 weeks or so. We usually take baby for a doctor check up at this time (for birth certification).
Shalom sister, my husband found your video very informational. So we wanted to ask as far as caring for a newborn, when is the earliest? time they can be among other people? Asking about Sabbath gathering in particular.
@sweetjamee …going through a period where their bowels would move every? few days. It lasted for a few months with one child despite all my intervention, but she was fine.
@sweetjamee Oh wow! You’re welcome sis! As for the poops regulating, check to make sure your diet isn’t very “binding”, meaning high in starches. Increase your greens (in smoothies form perhaps) and water intake, and you can also get your hands on some Seamoss and Bladderwrack (have that info. on my website), you can eat a few prunes a day as well. If the BM’s don’t return to “norm”, then the baby’s body will regulate the bowels on it’s own. I remember 2 of my? children, specifically…
Shalom sis, thank you for the video. It was very informative and inspirational. My 3 week old had jaundice, blocked eye duct and a couple of white bumps at the roof of his mouth. I was worried about these things when they happened. Watching this video really sent a peaceful spirit over me and has built my confidence. Thank you and congratulations. Do you have any advice for breastfed babies and pops? every few days? Ty
Oh my, he’s? sleeping!! I can’t believe it! My little girl would bawl and bawl until I got so nervous and scared. She’s 4 now, but bathing time was not as relaxing as this for me or her. Hoping to start on another soon, so I’ll have to get details!
Congratulations to you and my ahch on your contribution in the rebuilding of the nation of Israelites. Blessed be the womb of the Hebrew mothers that shine their wealth of wisdom in your roles as wise mothers and wise wives (Prov. 31:10-12).
Blessings to your? house and the continued growth thereof, Shalawm.
@AnaYah01 Aww, thank you Emah AnaYah! Good to hear from you…please give our regards to your Eesh and family! Blessings? and love to your family from ours.
@NoMoreAnimosity Hey sis! Yeah, all of mines dealt with jaundice. The severity and length of it decreased with the last three though. My little boy is knocked out right now and I need? to go and join him!!!
If? I ever have a chance to give birth, I will remember this. You are so precious with your child. I can feel the love.
